I'm Free! Tee Hee!

Hello world and all its beautiful people! I've missed you so, being cut off from the outside world is such a drag. Especially when my quickest source for info is Twitter. (Thank goodness for Twitter or I wouldn't even know Japan experienced such a terrible disaster!)

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that NS is finally over! That's right! It's over! For me at least, there are still some poor schmucks sulking around at camp cause they're going back a day later. :) I don't know why I'm smiling at their problem but it just feels good not being them.

So here I am, being glad that I'm free now. Free enough to settle all the unfinished business that NS stopped me from doing.

So here's what I'm going to be doing in the closer-than-it-seems future.

1. Take my driving test and get my license.

Yeah, I put up a sexist joke here so I can get into some sort of trouble in a lame attempt to direct attention at this blog.
2. Travel back home.
As I've told anyone who would listen, KL and Penang (Island! Emphasis on Island!) are the only two places in Malaysia where I feel like I'm home. KL with its insane energy and Penang with its comfortingly assuring atmosphere. If you're ever in the same car as me whenever I go to Penang, you'll notice how my face instantly brightens and shines the moment we reach

The bridge leading to the Pearl of the Orient. Penang Island, one of a kind I tell you. One of a kind.
3. Genting Highlands!
I haven't been there since I was a kid. And this time, I'm going with some of the best people I've ever met, so it's gonna' be way awesome!

This place, a group of young, attractive people. What could be more travel brochure-ish?
4. China
The land of my ancestors. It's about time I paid it another visit.

My fave place in Shanghai ever.
5. My SAT's!
I need to take the test. Seriously, I'm not kidding, the deadline for college apps is so short it's not even funny anymore. Bah, maybe I'll just take two years here in Malaysia to do the IB.

Well, that's about what's in my calendar for the next few months. Oh, and I'll be putting up a few posts on NS in a few days. Just as soon as I finish editing the pics. Okay then. I have to go fatten myself up now.
